Here at B&H's, we are blessed to share our land with many different wildlife species. We try to capture them on camera every chance we get. as we get more photo's, we will add them.
So far we have seen lot's of deer, and several different types of bird's and wild fowl's.
On April 2, 2009 we came across a family of Guinea Hen's. Growing up in the city, I never had the chance to ever see these in person. So it was truly a pleasureto be able to watch them and see them in person. They make quite odd noice's. The unfamiliar sound is what got my attention first. They were pretty different looking to me, and i knew they werent wild turkey's. So i snapped a few pictures, and asked around. To my amazement i found out they were Guinea Hen's, and a lot of farmer's use them to protect their property cause of the high pitch sound's they make.
They stayed for a couple of day's, but ended up taking off. So I imagine they went back to their home. As you can see from the picture's, they came right up to our side yard.
